Crafted with a matte black aluminum bezel, the unit features an embedded multicolor RGB ambient backlight. The D-METER 2 PLUS now includes diagnostic trouble code (DTC) read and clear functions, eliminating the need for additional diagnostic tools. It allows you to quickly display and clear ECU error codes, helping drivers instantly detect abnormalities and significantly reduce troubleshooting time.

To accommodate various driving preferences and needs, the D-METER 2 PLUS supports unit switching and allows users to set up to 9 customizable alert thresholds. When any monitored value exceeds the preset range, the system will issue a warning through red flashing lights and an audible alert. With a built-in power-off memory function, all user settings are automatically saved—eliminating the need for reconfiguration.

The D-METER 2 PLUS utilizes the OBDII standard CAN BUS protocol, and is compatible with vehicles that support the SAE J1979 communication standard to ensure optimal performance.

Displayed data is dependent on the information provided by the vehicle’s ECU. Availability of data may vary by vehicle model.

In addition to standard OBDII parameters, the D-METER 2 PLUS offers advanced data channel support for specific vehicle brands, enabling the display of manufacturer-specific values such as engine oil temperature, transmission fluid temperature, intake air temperature, and boost pressure. Users can easily apply the corresponding preset based on their vehicle brand.

Engine oil temperature and transmission fluid temperature are not part of the standard OBD-II PID list. Additionally, some vehicles may lack factory-installed sensors for these parameters. As a result, not all vehicles are capable of displaying this data.

Most vehicles can use the UNIVERSAL Standard Channel CH.1 to directly display boost pressure (intake manifold pressure), with a measurement range from -1.0 bar to +1.55 bar—suitable for the majority of factory turbocharged vehicles.

For certain diesel vehicles and high-boost models, the D-METER 2 PLUS offers brand-specific turbo channels that can measure from 1 atmosphere (0 bar) up to over 2.0 bar, depending on the vehicle’s ECU data output.

The display can be directly applied to any flat interior surface. If no suitable flat area is available, you can use the included metal plate, bend it into an L-shape, and create a compact mounting bracket.
